Developing Strategies and Actions for the Classroom
Judy Willis will work with participants to come out with strategies and ideas for the classroom, based on her inaugural keynote address.
At the beginning, Judy will receive a list of not more than 10 statements which have resulted from the previous interaction with the public taking notes and then validating these principles through a survey.
Starting from the statements, participants will work with the keynote speaker to ask the following questions:
- What will we see in the school if the principle or idea expressed in the statement were to be fully implemented?
- How can we work and learn so that the above expressed vision becomes a reality?
The goal is to identify ways in which educators in schools can bridge the gap between what happens now and what they wish to see happen in the near future. By means of the same interactivities, users and participants will come up with a series of prioritized answers to the questions.
