Cambridge Professional Development Qualifications

Cambridge Professional Development Qualifications (Cambridge PDQs) transform professional learning for teachers and school leaders. They elevate the quality of teaching and learning and improving learner outcomes while also opening up opportunities for career development.
They provide accredited professional development based on international best practices and research.
During the presentation three qualifications will be introduced:

Alejandra Tejón

Alejandra is an educator with extensive experience in bilingual and international schools, actively contributing to research and collaborative teams focused on sustainable learning approaches. She is deeply committed to understanding how students learn and to fostering environments that support their growth and development. Her career began as a Kindergarten teacher and later expanded into the field of Educational Psychology. Over the years, she has held various leadership positions, including Kindergarten Coordinator, Learning Centre Coordinator, and Deputy Head. She currently serves as Academic Director at Northlands School, where she oversees the design, enhancement, and implementation of the curriculum.

María José Montenegro MA

 María José Montenegro is a Teacher of English (INSP Joaquín V. González) holding a Master’s Degree in Education and School Management (UDESA), a Postgraduate degree in Leadership, Conflict Resolution and School Mediation (Universidad Siglo 21) and a Diploma in School Management and Innovation Design (UTN ).
She has developed her career as a teacher and administrator at different levels in bilingual schools in the city and province of Buenos Aires. She was former member of EPEA (Establecimientos Privados Educativos Asociados) and ACoBi (Asociación de Colegios Bilingues) Executive Committees.
She currently works as a tutor in the Specialization in School Management for Educational Transformation at St. Andrew’s University and as an advisor and trainer in educational organizations.
Carlos González
Carlos González is an English teacher, who graduated from INSP “Joaquín V. González”, and holds a Master’s degree in Education from the University of Bath (UK). He has extensive professional experience as a teacher across primary, secondary, tertiary and university levels, as well as in school leadership roles. He has written books on school management and assessment, and textbooks for teaching English as a foreign language. Currently, he is the Headmaster of Barker College (Lomas de Zamora), holds tenure at IFD No. 52 (San Isidro), a member of the School Review Team at the School of Education of the University of San Andrés and Vice Chair of ESSARP.
