…but character formation is the ticket for entry into life.

Schools, anywhere in the world, have become vulnerable to the influences of social media, the terrible effects of bullying, physical and emotional together with the pressure to conform to stereotypes created by so-called ‘influencers’. Unfortunately for all of us in education, we cannot ignore social media, the internet nor influencers.

What we can do is build character in our girls and boys, focusing on the development of individuals who have a robust value system, who recognise the rights and needs of others, who will serve society as well as serve themselves.

This year we have invited to our conference speakers with deep knowledge and experience in character building which leads to the formation of solid values that, in turn, will lead to a life fully lived.

And that, after all, is the prime role of education, and why we are all here in the first place.
