Richard Gilby

Richard is the Regional Director for Latin America and the Caribbean for Cambridge University Press and Assessment. He has also recently been named one (of the two) International Climate Change Ambassadors for Cambridge University Press and Assessment. His work as Ambassador includes presenting at conferences internationally, working with educators, participating in London Climate Action Week and generally getting people speaking about climate change education.

He has worked in education in Greece, Egypt, and Mexico. Richard was a Headteacher in three Cambridge schools – Cairo and Mexico City before founding his own school in rural Mexico. For the last ten years he has worked for Cambridge and is privileged to lead an amazing team of trusted education advisers. He has too many passions and interests to list here. Richard believes curiosity is the spice of life, there is always something new to learn (and the number of books he reads a year, and the many topics that they cover, are proof of this.)
